MomentClip is operated by Shape d.o.o. (“we”, “us”, “our”). We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our website and services at momentclip.com.

When you use MomentClip, we may collect:

  • Video files you upload for processing (temporarily stored for up to 24 hours)
  • Usage data such as processing mode selected, job status, and timestamps
  • Technical data including IP address, browser type, and device information
  • Email address if you contact us or create an account

2. How We Use Your Data

  • Process your uploaded videos and generate clips
  • Improve our AI models and service quality
  • Respond to support requests
  • Send service-related communications
  • Comply with legal obligations

3. Video Data

Your uploaded videos are processed using third-party AI services (OpenAI for transcription, Anthropic for analysis, pyannote.ai for speaker diarization). Videos and generated clips are stored temporarily and automatically deleted after 24 hours. We do not use your video content for training AI models.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate MomentClip:

  • OpenAI — Audio transcription (Whisper API)
  • Anthropic — Transcript analysis (Claude API)
  • pyannote.ai — Speaker diarization
  • Vercel — Frontend hosting
  • DigitalOcean — Backend infrastructure

Each provider has their own privacy policy governing how they handle data processed through their services.

5. Data Retention

Uploaded videos and generated clips are automatically deleted 24 hours after processing. Account data (if applicable) is retained until you request deletion. Usage logs are retained for up to 90 days for debugging and service improvement.
